there are lots of that type of carport installed up and down the country, they are also sold as a cover to the rear gardens too for outdoor living etc but it certainly brings it home that they are not suitable without support legs after this accident

it show part of the canopy on the floor which is actually the front support bracket which has 3 bolt holes with the other 2 middle and far side white supports also visible
contractors removed next doors canopy as a precaution
