Ok got in from work at half 6 then decided to see how the stripping had worked

Image

Very happy with the results so far,
I done a quick video to show how easy the paint came off, ok it has not got every bit but it is quite impressive

I had trouble viewing the video at first but got there in the end.
Seems good stuff is this the Kling Strip you were talking about.
How did you use it and how long do you leave it on for.

I put it on with a scraper on Saturday afternoon and removed it Monday evening so about 50 hours once it was on I then covered the lot with shrink wrap cling film will do.

Just removed it with a scraper and washed the stairs down to a couple of times.

All in all pretty good stuff, a little messy but good stuff.

Don't forget your PPE also it does not smell really so that's a plus

A bit late on the thread Simon, but I am surprised you didn't get on with the heat gun. I bought a dewalt one last week for £30 and its the absolute d's b's. In the past I have always used a blow torch but the heat gun kicks ass on the blow torch. I am doing loads at my house this week. I've removed a chimmney, replastered a bedroom, decorated a big timber facia, and am in the process of re-pointing chimmney. Got shed loads of pics on the I phone but cant work out how to post them straight from the I phone. Anybody know?

Yer I have a heat gun but that seams slower, and I tend to get burn marks.

As for pictures I load them up to photobucket and then just paste the IMG code in and bingo....

Give it a go I'm on the iPhone too quite easy to do.......

Thanks Simon

Why is it there a tendency amongst some of the female persuasion to get all precious and uppity about our manly "home projects" just because it's sodding Christmas? Have they no sensitivity? Can't they see how sodding important this is? When else do we get the bloody chance? :D
