I really dont get men working on bank holidays,we pay our main 2 subbies for bank holidays
back in the day when i worked on the cards we used to get double bubble and a day in lieu for bank holidays
that was a no brainer

Trying to balance work and home life now. I have spent the last 5 years putting everything into building business up. I can finally chill out a bit, start working normal hours, take more holidays etc

I worked half day saturday yesterday and today finishing at 7.30 pm yesterday doing a 1 acre lawn. I wouldn't have normally done it but knew the weather was to turn so ha no choice. It turned out perfectly and stared to rain literally the minute I finished seeding with the chariot and to top it off I'd allowed an extra 1.5 days and an additonal days hire on the skidsteer and destoner which added another £700 profit to the job so not unhappy about doing it and I still watched that amazing concert last night. I thought the pageant was shit though.
