the fella at work fishes for big carp (which he informs me are 40lb plus)
last year he caught 3 fish in 15 weekends
i dont get fishing myself, used to go with some lads who smoked dope and got drunk but that wasnt really fishing
more like a rave with rods
but it definitely brings a lot of pleasure to a lot of men

The only time you can fish for mahseer is between November and February. This is the only time of the year when the river is low enough to have any idea where the fish are holed up
