can slabs be layed on a dry bed, grit sand brushed on to lock in place or is that a daft suggestion?

I've got some surplus Indian sandstone going at £10 + VAt per m2. There is nothing wrong with it and its brand new. We changed our stock sizes over to 600 series and we have some 560 series which I need to get rid of. PM if interested

I got antoher good quote for the blue slate from Benchmark that puts it about the same cost... but still worth thinking about, what is the colour of that LondonStone?

We have a couple of colours, Autumn Brown & Kandla grey. Both in 560x420 size

are those 450 by 450 riven slabs?
are you planning to drive a vehicle on it?
not bad if you DIY
