later on a plasterer i sometimes use who is mixed race slated me for using a pole?
i try and take people on their merit alone
if humans were dogs we would all be the same breed we are that closely related

I dont give a monkeys about people's race or religion but as long as do a days honest work what's the problem?,better than living on the social as some people seem to make a life of doing! As usual a few extremists spoil it for the majority regardless of the race or religion

I agree with the Aussies and Sean on many levels, living in Brum you can see how immigration is changing the culture of Britain, and believe me suggers, it's not being "Right wing" saying you don't agree with mass immigration without any form monitoring or capping.
Not being able to enter ceratain areas of your own city, women being spat at for dressing "wrong", bullying of children for being "white", blatantly hostile attitudes. There are many good things about our multi cultural society , but don't be so rightous/ blinkered to the truth and ignore reallity.
During the last Petrol Boycott, there were some Asian owned Petrol stations with signs saying "Asians only" in Brum, my wife was spat at and verbally abused recently by a group of Muslims, for wearing "Whores" clothing as they put it, and my missus is a lecturer in fine Art at a university.
Suggers, I'm not sure where abouts you live, but don't think everyhting is a bed of roses just cos the Gaurdian says so.
P.s I read it myself.

I agree with Seans post in the way that if you move to a foreign country its up to you to fit in not the other way about. We normally go on holiday to Turkey twice a year and I know for a fact that they hate the typical young 18-30 holiday Brit as they talk down to people and generally behave like complete arseholes believing there better than everyone else.

As I live in Scotland which does not have a large Asian/black population we dont have any real problems like those mentioned earlier but there are certain parts of Edinburgh/Glasgow where Asians are the majority but just get on with it like the rest of us.

PS, I hate the left wing rag known as the Guardian

Suggs', did you read my other post about my Pakistani neighbour who ripped down my st George flag i was flying in the world cup?
Since then he has got worse, i was feeding the birds in my garden and he threatened to kill me for it. I just laugh it off but what if he carried out his threat? In Great Britain and can't fly my national flag, or feed the birds, that is just a couple of things, i could go on more about him. I can't smack him one ( Allah knows i want to ) or phone the old Bill, because don't need the publicity when selling up.
As to being o o o when we go on holiday, that's just it, we are on holiday, they live here permenantly so should conform. This post wasn't meant to offend anyone.

you are quite right there sean, you dont need any disputes when moving as you have to disclose it to any prospective buyers
if the neighbour is that bad i would move
there is a lot to be said for detached houses (ps i am in a semi but have a professor and a vicar for neighbours, happy days)

I wouldnt fancy going to saudi, yemen or any place in the middle east and trying to change their way of life
i feel it would end badly for me :;):

England might be a Welsh colony if you look at the recent DNA analysis Carberry mate, there's more evidence against Anglo Saxon ancestors than for, we're mainly descended from the first Hunter Gatherers than any later arrivals like the Krauts, So you've probably got more "Welsh" in you than you thought.:p
