Myself, I've just had the human MOT - (just reached a certain age) -
Result - hey OK - (evidently heart disease is the biggest killer.)
So sad that a great friend of ours - just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer - the silent killer.

Hello LLL,
I think your problem with YouTube may be connected with this.
"When a movie in the YouTube Shows and Movies category has been issued a rating by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the rating is displayed under the video as well as in the YouTube player before the film begins. MPAA ratings include G, PG, PG-13, R and NC-17. Access to movies rated R and NC-17 are restricted to older audiences, and you must be signed into your YouTube account in order to watch them."

hmmm interesting thought edgar, but i cant even sign in normally
my problem is that in 98 the internet was a fun place to be,we were at the cutting edge of things with our 56 k modems
now its big business rearing its ugly head, annihilating any competition and turning the whole thing into 1 big marketing ploy
welcome to the brew cabin BTW

Thanks for the welcome. I've been sitting quietly in the corner unnoticed for quite a while. This is a wonderful web site and you are all so helpful. We had a new Drivesett Argent drive installed last year and this site and Tony's book were really useful when it came to the design and discussions with my installer. Being on deep Surrey clay all the explanatory stuff about drainage, soakaways, etc was a godsend. Thank you all.
As for YouTube I never sign in and, so far, haven't had any problems. It's true I have a gmail account but as far as I can tell that makes no difference as I have also used YouTube on new installs on clean machines which don't know about my gmail account. I use Linux exclusively so it's possible that makes a difference. It was only today that I noticed one of those rating codes (PG) under a film and clicked the "Learn more" to discover that quote and wondered if it might be the answer to your problem.
