tractor stuck in the mud at rugby club job, was doing some fencing at our farm so would have been a pain to drive get tractor clean it off and bring it home just to put in a few posts to take it back to get car etc, 3 ton was there auger on in 2 mins etc,

did you just backfill the posts or concrete them
Was wondering about an auger for the k008. Do they every get jammed? what happens if they hit a large flint?

Only concrete in really bad ground, use a fencing bar to back fill with the clay. That's now we do it in the country side just as solid.
They are tipped with carbide cutting teeth. Slows them down but will break through. Roots are worse, when it's on our 1.6 ton roots can stop it. But we have two way hydraulics so just reverse it. On the 3 ton not much stops it and spins really fast.
Fabricated a carrier bracket so it can go on our3cx or 8 ton as well, for reaching up banks etc, but can't have them revving to hard though. That auger takes unto a 300mm auger, we have 150mm and 200mm and an extension bar.

it was very intentional, pulled over, set iphone onto hdr mode just wish id had my big camera with me. i'll dig out one from the other week hold on...

I'm sure they're called crepuscular rays. Watched cloud spotting a few weeks back on iplayer. Nice too see that kind of landscape. It's quite flat around here.

5 ton yanmar
came at good money so had to have it, its coming friday i hope. guy cleaning it up fixing a few issues,new seat etc, welding some greedy boards on the side for the soil got a rock body on it at mo.
love new toys haha and hopefully get this job done before im away to the sun

yeah know cautrac they have a depot in bolton near us, we get our rubber tracks from them for our minis and parts for our sumitomo 8 ton also.
looking forward to putting it through its paces, ill get some video etc post it up here.

there very good on bad ground dont churn it up seating is not made for us big boys small japs :;):
