the betting coup is now well and truly defunct
a monkey on villa Sunday is my only way out
never thought i would be sorry to see Germany lose but over all Spain outclassed them

Thats you and Paul the Octopus going for the Spanish then, dont know if its a throw back from my yoof but i wouldnt mind the Dutch winning it, apart from maybe Robben who i dislike with a passion.

on skill spain are 100%
on kicking lumps out of people holland are right up there with leeds of the 70's
the one aspect that has been overlooked is that this is effectively a home game for holland
nearly all the white south africans support holland as they share ancestral roots

on skill terms spain are miles ahead
but as i mentioned with the weather and their ancestors this is effectively a homer for the dutch
i have a fiver on van bommel (martin keown on steroids) at 33/1 to score first and a tenner on villa
tonight its a tenner on klose
germany 4-0 tonight,read it and weep

just checked the coupon, £500 not 300 if holland win. mrs rab is planing to book a holiday with my windfall. said before this all started that the dutch would bag it, that's why i`ve never predicted a score untill now 3-1 for holland. dont want to jinx it

Had Uruquay V Germany as a banker draw, I guessed both teams wouldn't be bothered enough to win. That cost me -1 point
Got Spain down to win 2-1.

I had Germany 3 - 1 Uruguay as a banker - didn't see the match but saw the result and thought 3-2 'arse'

cheers Ian, i was lucky i have been doing the premiership one for 2 years so it helped
my betting strategy is now well and truly discredited,the only ray was that paddy power refunded all final bets as it was a 0-0 bore draw
mr webb should have gone to specsavers
that schneider freekick was deflected and should have been a corner
van bommel was lucky to stay on the park
i just dont feel convinced that spain are the best team in the world
they lost to Switzerland ffs

Spain started as the favorites to win Luton , not one of the best finals but the best team won on the night
it was a very hard game to ref seeing the dutch are the dirtiest team i have ever seen play in a world cup final but on the whole i thought he did a good job
shit happens and the refs decision is final and the players should get over it and play the game they turned to to play in the first place but what pisses me off is when the players spit their dummy out time after time, complaining and complaining, confronting the ref right in his face, the dutch were lucky to only get one red card.
if the dutch are that good why can't they put the ball in a 24' x 8' hole without any controversy ???

it should be like rugby where only the captain can talk to the ref
but ,big but,in rugby they are allowed action replays
this world cup for me has been one of bad refereeing descisions costing teams games
watching spain is like watching paint dry
they are not dominant winners like brazil or france
and as for the dirty dutch,i was just thinking of rabs holiday fund
