nope, its for something much bigger, usually wet and grey. Dont think there will ever be a tram to run anywhere around Edinburgh at this rate :p

true you can Thank my brother in law for that. He worked at Jacobs who are the consultants for it and the new forth bridge. He actually quit to preserve his sanity over that job. They've scaled it back to about a fifth of the original plan and are only just on budget from the original cost so they still get to say it's on target. That means it would've good over budget by at least 600 million quid. And no one wants it and the city doesn't need it bloody crazy.

and im sick of the bloody road closures and diversions! Im really not surprised he quit to preserve his sanity lol their making good progress with the tram sheds at the Gogar side of town, that looks to have been the most productive area of the whole job. Theres been alot of folk who have made a good bit of money from giving us something that lothian and first buses managed quite well in the first place

i can't believe they're taking the tram to the airport when the bloomin train runs right past it. All they needed to do was build a stop and hey frickin Presto it's connected to the rest of Scotland cheaper and more suitable for the nations needs but when does the government listen to sound advice

in luton we had a perfectly serviceable rail line to dunstable and leighton buzzard
so the powers that be have decided to rip this line out in its entirety (it had been closed for years as no one used it)
and replace it with a guided busway that no one wants either
bus fail
not 1 person i have spoke to from luton or dunstable wants it or will use it,and the nearest stop for me would be a 1.5 mile walk
total abject failure to spend public funds with any reasoning

although from an aesthetic viewpoint that diamond detail is real pretty ,I would find it troubling having that many small unit cuts right at the point of a drive that gets the heaviest usage
also a little bit busy to look at
it almost looks like a victorian tiled floor

theres a crowd in luton who do a lot of intricate stuff like that with up to 5 different pavers involved and although their cutting and construction is the nuts ,personally I feel that less can be more :;): and 5 different pavers is too much in 1 drive

i liked that other one you posted up recently ambient,with the swooping curve

well, another couple terrible photos by yours truly, im certainly no photographer, im sure you have noticed by now lol. Back to the same job im not meant to say much about.

This time putting up razor wire whilst dangling above 80 feet of water in a man cage on the end of a crane. Then had to hang it from the side of a small boat, its been an interesting day

The view from the boat, winde turbine blades being unloaded in tandem by two 130ton cranes

And the crane i posted pics of earlier in the thread, now the jib has been raised up ready for the boat to arrive on friday. If your heading north on the Forth Road Bridge and look to the left, you certainly wont miss it

No, razor wire is to keep certain folk out of those dry docks, incase they have a poke around our defence equipment. The crane is to build the "Goliath" crane which is due to arrive by boat on friday to build 2 boats that were under threat earlier on, they will be replacing the boat you see in pic 4. Although the wind turbine parts just so happened to be there when we were. A foetus could lift my wages. I wont even shame myself lol.
