if you are using a vacuum lift it will be fine
its when you have to tilt and lay problems can arise

I have laid hundreds of metres of 600 by 600 barfaced and the bleeding sucker wont work :(

little trick i use if there is ever a slight rocker with the big boys I sweep some KDS into the tight joint
normally solves it

In Brighton west st area up from the clock tower i had to lay 900x600x65 outside the shops on a 10/20 ml bed owing to the existing concrete being high, couldn't break it out because something to do with basement slab. As we moved along finish areas became lay down areas so had a lot of weight on them with dumpers and forks on them, hand laid all good. 20 years ago now.

Yes it was indeed. I found the trick was to screed, and not compact with a wacker. That way, any slabs that were too high just tapped down easy.
drove the avant over it a few days after completion and no movement.
I think I need to upload the finished pics

I think the wacker was overplayed
i meant wack like 1 pass so that any voids were filled
not wacked like you would a subbase
