Hi
I did put a request out for laying permeable concrete pavers with wide joints and did get a response for which I am grateful, but I would like to ask if anyone has a system inwhich I can provide a permeable bedding while acheiving 10mm joints. In america I have seen them lay the pavers on fine gravel then fill the joints with permeable joint compound. Can this be done without pavers shifting under load on a drive?
Regards
Peter

I have already looked at the link, but it doesn't mention what you have to do different when dealing with wider joints. People I have spoken to say thay when you have wider joints then the permeable base design isn't stable enough since the blocks dont support one another! But nobody has given me an answer apart from bedding them on a lean mix which stops them becoming permeable! And I have contacted most of the manufacturers who don't want to comment even though Hanson's show a picture of their permeable paving with wide joints, they told me to contact a local installer!
