well you are looking at around £5 per m2 for the 365 compared to pennies for sand and cement per metre
but the labour saving is large
and time especially if the weather is looking wet

i allow approx £5 to £7 per metre for pointing flags using sand and cement so as far as pricing goes there aint a lot in it i suppose, but your quite right you have to have the right weather with you.

just as a side note if we are using sand/cement or easipoint (my fave) i tend to leave the joints at 12 mm as i find 10 hard to point with the gun
with weatherpoint i go for 10mm where poss as it looks neater

its a fine mixture of sand and cement
just add water and mix with a paddle mixer
it goes through a pointing gun lovely and is ready to strike in 20-30 minutes
about £25 a bag but the colour is consistent

right yeh i see,
i use a mixture of red building sand and yellow river sand with mastercrete cement, measured out with a bucket for consistancy with feb and unibond additives,
leave it to mix in mixture for 10 minutes or so and find it goes threw my pointing gun a treat ,
can add a accelerator if you want it to go off quicker if needed,

i find the building sand here mixes great but it is just bit too soft, where the river sand we have goes like iron but it can be a little coarse and this can clog up my pointing gun hence why i mix them ,
