I'm looking at using them on soft sandstone, good sandstone, new Yorkstone, Kota Yellow, Brazilian slate, British slate, G603 and G684, so if Aqua want to be included, they need to send me 500-1,000ml of jollop to try out.

Applied the Aqua-seal today. It looks fantastic. I used a paintpad to apply it sparingly and I easily made the 950ml of fluid last..... with some to spare. At the top of the photo, you can see a smaller patio that I laid with leftover slabs from the main patio many years ago. You can see how faded it is compared to the restored slabs. I'm sure there is enough Aqua-seal left over to do the smaller patio once I've wire brushed it clean. Patio was sealed at 1300 today and rain is forecast for 2200. Although the patio was touch dry after 2 hours, I'm wondering if I should cover it with tarps tonight or if it will be fine. Aqua-seal website says keep dry for 12 hours. I reckon mine will get 9 hours before rain. fingers crossed.

I am in the process of quoting a customer for sealing their black limestone patio to restore its colour and was going to use the FT Plus but having just spoken to someone at SteinTec I was advised that if the limestone has been laid on a bed of sand and cement (which it was) then FT Plus is not suitable to use as it could result in a milky finish as you can never really guarantee that it is completely dry underneath. I have done a test patch using the FT Plus which looks fine so far but perhaps its worth considering this Aqua Mix instead - any advice on this? They also want the grouting to look as black as possible so we are considering the options of using a sealant to darken it if that will give a satisfactory result or replace it with a black coloured resin compound....

Personally I have never had this problem, as long as the paving is completely dry before you seal, so say 24-48 hours after cleaning with no rain in that time. As far as the grouting goes, sealing with a colour enhancing sealer will only darken what you have in place already if you see what I mean?

Thanks Roger - do you have a rough idea of what coverage you get out of the Aqua Mix when used on the usual black limestone?

I don't know the product, but just had a look at it on line, look's rubbish, this should be quite easy to remove with a sealer & coating's remover, the one I use it Aqua-Mix SCR, ideally you would use a low speed rotary machine, but you should be able to use a pressure washer if you are careful, so you don't etch the paving. How many square metres have you got to do?
It's about 100 square meters ,how do I apply the aqua mix ,I have a pressure washer with one of those driveway attachments . thanks for the help it has been driving me mad no one seems to know how to remove the sealer not even ever build there customer service is a joke
