Having already poured the foundations using mixers, I wondered if would have been cheaper to get ready mixed in. None of the sites I visited offered a price , only 'call us for a quote'. So what is the going rate for ready mixed?

There's the cost of the concrete you have, plus the cost of the concrete you don't have (empty space in the mixer wagon), plus the cost of getting it from them to you. As you could be next door or 25 miles away, that's why they don't quote "one size fits all" prices.

1 cube would cost somewhere around 150 quid, I reckon, but be careful: cement prices are particularly volatile this year.
