What is the best way to demolish a concrete pond? It's roughly kidney shaped, 4 x 5 metres and about 1.5 metres deep. It is watertight and half-full of water.
How do I know how deep the concrete/hardcore goes, can you hire a gadget to determine this? Also, what sort of tools should I hire to break up the concrete?
Hope you can help.

Sounds like a job for a JCB (or similar backhoe excavator)

If the site is restrictive, it may be cleaner to pump out the water and go in with a concrete breaker.
