Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Yeah I said I'd ask you guys if it can be done. Sorry about the pic, didn't realise it was so crap until just now. It looks to me like the glazing has been burnt away or something rather than a stain so could be no good.
What do you think?

She said she thinks an acid based cleaner was used. In my unprofessional opinion I think they are f****d! It looks like the finish is taken off!

You could start with a basic detergent-based clean and then move on to a steam clean, but I'd steer clear of acid-based cleaners indoors.
