Hi, my builders merchant charges over £200 for a large roll of this stuff but I don't want to pay that much, as isn't used very often.

Is this stuff on ebay seem ok to you?

It's ok for paths but with the overlap at 1.5m wide it ain't much cop for drives etc

We buy it from burdens it's about £180 a roll for a 4.5m x 100 roll of proper Terram 1000

I suspect that it is 'path width' by design, intended for use with 900-1200mm wide access paths.

Most rolls are 4.5m in width so it's just one-third of a standard roll. If you were to use it for larger/wider areas, you need a min 300mm overlap, which is 20% of the overall width - that's a lot to lose!
