Hi all we are laying some pre sealed jura limestone from London stone with a imperial granite sett edging from CED I have used gun pointing before but find it fiddly/messy and quite slow is there any reason why we cannot use marshalls 365 ? any advice would be great
Thanks
Peter

I feel that in the eons of time (well 10 years or so )
sand/cement will be better than 365
but my experience over the last year tell me that 365 is a good product
my mate just popped round who does stone restoration in central london,he said a lot of their work is were builders have got cement on limestones and they then get called in to recut the floors
he has just recut some jura and said it is very hard and he used a lot of diamond pads
FTR pete with 900 by 600 flags and a 10mm joint we get around 10M2 per tub

Bear in mind that 365 is only a polymeric. It doesn't have the same strength or resilience of highway grade materials such as Rompox or GftK.
Jura *is* a danged hard stone but it can be thirsty, too, so, whatever you choose as pointing material, cement- or resin-bound, polmeric or epoxy, test a discreet area first because its light colour means any stain/residue can be highly noticeable.
