Dpc and aco drains

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

I've just had an extension built and the floor level inside the extension is supposed to be the same level as the patio outside, with large folding doors between the two. The DPC in the extension is the same level as the patio. Can I build an Aco drain at the DPC level or must there be a drop between DPC and the Aco drain? If so, what is the minimum drop?

The linear channel can be laid a few millimetres lower than the DPC
