Hi All

Not sure where to get help for this one but worth a try.

I have managed to snap in half my living room travertine marble table which consists of a slab of marble measuring 40"x45 " and about 1" thick..It is now literally in half with only what seems like a fibreglass backing connecting it, the edge of the break is very jagged.

Does anyone have any idea who/how i could repair this, bearing in mind it is extremely heavy.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

:(

Take it to a specialist 'marble workstop' showroom. They have ways and means of dowelling and epoxy-jointing pieces of stone such as this.
