Bt infinity

out of curiosity i ran the bT test

download 50.12 Mbps

upload 8.08 Mbps

ping 37.13 ms

the thing is there are very few sites that you can download at 50Mbps from

big boys like microsoft etc i can usually download at around 10 Mbps which means most files only take seconds

its taken 16 years but the interweb is finally catching up in the UK

Maybe they got me to use it as it shows a faster connection than the rest then. im meant to have 80mb connection and the line supports it now i have moved to Milton Keynes, but the best the speed test show is around the 46 mark.

the internet from infinity is excellent but their customer service is poor to non existent
when i have had occasional problems they always want me to use their speed checker ,when the oopla one is fair quicker and IMHO more realistic
to watch TV i.e. netflix you only need 3Mbps but higher speeds mean it works smoother
my mate in sweden has been getting 100mbps up and down for 8 years

My broadband. Believe it or not it is much better than it used to be. Was with virgin now plusnet. Plenty fast enough for me. I guess I don't watch as much HD porn as you perverts!
