Hello
I am planning on building a shed base, slightly raised out of my lawn due to the sloping nature of my garden. I am going to build a brick retaining wall around 300mm-375mm in height on concrete footings and backfill with ballast. Then a sand laying course and then flags to support the shed base. the flags will be set level with the top of the wall so the bricks will form the border of the surface of the shed base.
My question is: do I need to build a single skin or double skin wall for the retainer?
Many thanks
Retaining wall thickness
