Tarmac costing

Please could someone give me an idea of how much it would cost to get an area covered properly. The area in question would be 1.5km at about 5metres wide. I read the costs on this site to be over £4000 for 100m2.

I worked out it would be in the region of £320,000 - Surely it would be cheaper for such a large area - i.e. like a bulk purchase but it is still going to be this kind of price?

presuming the area you need to surface is 7500 sq.m.for a 60mm depth tarmac surface,machine laid,you should expect to pay around 100k not including the sub-base preparation,probably cheaper.
