Square to round drainage unit - Patio drainage cover problem

Hi, anyone know where I can get a square to round recessed unit to take 600x600 slab and cover 300mm dia drain? Most places don't seem to offer anything larger than 450 tray. Drain in middle of small { 12 sq mtr } patio. Any other suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

Either go for the 450x450 and cut the slab to fit or if you insist on a 600x600 your builder merchant should be able to obtain one. They are more expensive though, I paid £100+vat from Keyline.
These will not be square to round but doesn't matter, surround your circular chamber with concrete and fit the cover on top of concrete pad. Watch your levels though.

If you are coming off a 300mm IC. It's best to keep to the 450mm x 450mm tray. More discreet in paving and less cuts. But you may want the larger size for some reason??

Thanks John156, as you may have guessed my patio laying experience is limited; this will be my fourth and I have never had to cover a drain yet. I am interested that you think a 450x450 would be less cuts. I would have thought that, since I am using 600 slabs, a 600 tray would mean only having to cut the slabs along one plane ; whereas a 450 would mean putting inserts both above and beside the 450 tray to match surrounding slabs. But I could be wrong and would value any more feedback.

A cut in 450x450 is going to be easier than a 600, if you are thinking you'll just drop a 600 in with the others and it'll be like a normal 600x600 slab especially if butt jointing them. Might have more of a chance if using say a 10mm joint

The very nice people at Clark Drain, originators of the square to round covers (I always thought it should be round to square, for some reason), will be able to supply one for you, either as a direct sale or via one of their nominated stockists.

No worries Fray bentos. If you can align the 600mm dimension with your courses it will work out well for you. The thing is that the Man hole is rarely excatly in the right position for that. Unless you start from the man hole and work back which will probably result in cuts against the house and cuts where you finish. I said less cuts because if it is smaller it is less likely to interfere with more than one course or flag.

As mentioned you can lay a standard size recessed tray and make good with concrete/ mortar around.

Thanks to all who posted; persuaded that 450 is the way to go. turns out i would need cuts against the house if using 600.
