Hi all, I have a 60sq meter drive which has a thin layer of tarmac the end 15 sq meter was done over flags, all before I bought house.
The end part is now a rutted puddles mess, my transit van has destroyed it. As the drive is fairly large quotes to re tarmac, block have been ££ I have been told stoning will be the cheapest way.
I had a guy come to price up, he claims that he would take up all existing flags but would be able to whack over the tarmac, claiming the stone would bed in/break up the existing tarmac and wouldnt rut. Is he talking sence can this be done??
Any advise would be great
