Hi LLL.

No dont worry fella, its all fully covered up so bone dry, well apart from the small area I uncovered to check the sealant worked which then got stained by the leaves.

Cheers for the recommendations, will have a look at those products, will need to check they are compatible with the original coat of resiblock; sort some samples with a view to finally sealing the paving in spring time.

"After a few days"??? That sealant should cure in 24-36 hours and be able to withstand tannins from fallen leaves. There's summat not right there!

Have you spoken to Resiblock?

Hi Tony,

Yes, took 5 weeks to respond once Id filled out a questionnaire form.

The technical manager then called and took some sample paving (didn’t seem very technical to me), apparently did some tests in the lab, not the leaves though which is the problem?

Have now just offered me my money back, seems they want to wash their hands of it, despite promising at the site meeting they would provide a method statement to adequately seal the paving.

I’m now left with paving that is not adequately sealed with the Resiblock and must now find a decent product that is compatible; not going to be easy eh!

Luckily is all covered up and kept dry, whilst I try and resolve the problem.

Paul,

I have answered your questions on the other thread, but do you have any photos of the paving you can put up here or email me?
