the diesel 1.5 does nearly 70mpg, especially the start stop model.

So over all transit it is then ? this year due to probs with my own van ive driven a citroen relay (lwb high top) nice drive and comfy but to big for me wont fit on the drive for a start a swb med roof transit not as comfy but ok space in the back just right and a vw transporter looks the part but not much bigger in the back than my dispatch.
So looking at a SWB med roof transit at the mo might bite the bullet and go for a 3 year old with low miles :p

The L200, Saoirse, is long gone and now replaced by Caoimhe the Kia. The alleged servicing was done by a garage in Risley (yes, the place with the prison) near Warrington, but it turned out that much of what I'd paid for was never actually done, or not done correctly, which ultimately led to the demise of my beloved Saoirse.

Grimsargh is a bit of a trek for me. An ex-girlfriend from Preston uses/used a mechanic there but other than "Stuart" I don't know the name.

I only ask as my old man is shop foreman there, he might of done the work, wtf is saoirse?

I might get one of them new isuzu trucks, single cab jobby, test drove one a while back, good bus.

It's pronounced "Seersha" (Sorsha in some dialects) and it's a name meaning "Freedom" which is what the L200 was intended to give me after nearly 10 years of not being able to drive for medical reasons.

Just a pity she didn't give me freedom from scary fuel bills. 20mpg was a good run!

Aren't Navara's the ones that need to be carrying summat weighty in the back otherwise the brakes are pretty ineffective?

I'm sure that's what a mate had and he swore he had to have a couple of 3x2s or 5x10s in the back at all times or there was no grip from the back wheels when braking.
