sand screeded,wacked and rescreeded yesterday and areas in

I have not laid that pattern for a few years but it does look good

I don't normally wear gloves but I always keep my finger dry by wiping them on my jeans or sweat shirt as all it takes is wet finger tips and the smallest piece of swarf off the paving and it will pierce the skin and feel like a needle

the reason i like the herringbone on smaller drives is that tegula in lines looks horrible if the house and pavemnet are not parrallel

thanks guys. wasnt easy with a shallow gas pipe, and a steep incline. the grabber was not happy!
but the customer was one of the best i have had, tea on the go, and smashing people. Shame they are few and far between these days

did you grease the cover dan?
I had to get my own clark cover out the other week,same as that one
I had to practically wreck the thing to get it out,took over an hour and 3 sides of block had to come out around it

so on the last drive i greased up all the inside and ran a bead of grease around the top before any sand went near it
I said it before but I am seriously considering going back to old school man hole covers
so much more user friendly

best way is take lid out b4 wacker, put a bundle of poly blockwrappers in hole to keep sand out, wack and sand, sand lid while sitting on drive and then put it back , no problems with grit locking it in
i dont vey often use clarksteel lids, MKM sell "wrekin lids" with the corner keys MSH

yeah but the frame on these is plastic
if you wack without the cover in the blinking frame will deflect!!
anyway they still get clogged up with crap

Got through 2 small patios this week 15m2 reclaimed stone to replace a deck over a Koi pond, lovely stone for £55m2

nice job, I have just changed to pink lines and they are so much easier to see than the lime green

I still manage to fall over the pink lines twice a day, and scratch my shins on the line pins even though I paint the tops bright yellow.
