anybody got an idea what to charge per metre for labour only for blockpaving roads footpaths and tabletops for new build estate, have not done this for about six years so not sure what to charge nowadays

Hi , the lads where I work get seven a metre . Which includes areas stoned up ,manholes set to correct heights . Pick up , diesel supplied and whacker and still saw and blades supplied . Suppose it all depends how high you are up the food chain . They are 3 rd down the chain .

well the way i would think it is can you and a man average 25-30m2 a day finished?
I know somedays you might do 50 but there wil be 12 m days too
as much as possible is the best answer

I would expect to pay £9.50/m2 for footpaths and £8.50m/2 for larger areas labour only, random stretcher bond using an 80mm 3 sized paver

Cutting to Gullies £10/nr
Cutting to Manholes/BT Boxes £14/nr
Infill Covers £14/nr
Cutting to Posts/Bollards/water boxes £6.50/nr

in my younger days used to lay 120 m2 per day cut sanded and wacked 2 skilled lads 1 labourer ,
