Black limestone needs rescuing - Black limestone

We had black limestone fitted a couple of weeks ago and have used a cleaner which stated was suitable for limestone. Unfortunately this was not the case and the acid has now bleached the flags (spotty in places). I was wondering if by using a wet look sealant this would hide the damage, as this is not visible when the flags are wet. Thanks for any advice. Don't want to have to rip all the flags up and start again, as too expensive x

Hi Tony
I did read the website in detail, but unfortunately only after we had used the acid. The reason for my email is to seek support as to whether it would be advisable to apply the wet look sealant onto the flags. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Lesson learnt on my part, always seek advice, just hope its not too late.
Thanks

Please don't seal the stone until I've had a look at it.
