I have just had my diveway covered with patterened concrete. I have a hollow circle in the middle with a border around it. The border is cobble stone in 2 lines and they are overlapping, and with varying gaps up to 4 inches between the cobbles. The contractor seems to think it looks ok, but I and my neighbours think it is terrible.
Can anyone tell me what my options with regarsd to getting it sorted. I am going to suggest to him, to cut out the cobble stone ring, with a still saw and refill with concrete and print again, is this possible?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I can send anyone a pic of this mess if they like.
Thanks in advance
Vicky.

You should put your concerns in writing, stating exactly what it is you don't like, and what you would want to see in its place, along with notice that you will be withholding a proportion of the price until the work is done to your satisfaction. Send this to the contractor by recoreded delivery, so they can't deny receiving it, and then wait for their response.
A good contractor will want to ensure you're reasonably happy with the work done. Sadly, when it comes to PIC, any remedial work involves a lot of hard graft, addirtional materials and not insignificant costs - maybe that's why this message board gets to hear about so many 'disputes' regarding unsatisfactory workmanship with PIC.
