Hi there
Just a quick question from a newbie on the best way to create a shingle filled channel in a long, raised flower bed which butts up against the exterior wall of a period property which has no dpc.
The raised bed is retained by a 20ft long curved brick wall which comes out 3ft at its widest point from the property and is 1 1/2ft high.
I wish to remove the potential for interior damp by removing soil from the outside wall as the top of the bed is currently only 6" below joist level.
The idea is to create a channel the length of the bed and backfill with shingle.
Any advice greatly received.
