I contacted an Irish company about my waterproofing dry mix problem, and they sell a crystal called KIM that expands to fill any small cracks of gaps in either wet or dry mix concrete, it is usually used on large scale jobs and sold in large quantities, I spoke to a guy called seamus who said I would only add 2% to the cement and a jar full would probably last me forever for what I need, when I asked for a price he wouldnt take any money not even for postage, he put me enough to last me a lifetime in a jar and it arrived yesterday, a kindness like that shouldnt go unmentioned!! thank you seamus. kryton uk

I met the guys from Kryton last year, while at the Dublin Stone Show (see News section for a review) and they were very knowledgeable. AFAIK, the product itself comes from Canada.
