I have well draining chalky soil in my garden and my landscaper wants to pour reinforced concrete straight onto it, and then lay Indian sandstone paving in a sand/cement mix on top of that, and then point. I thought hardcore between the soil and pavers would be the norm? Any advise please on how to lay a patio on chalky soil please?
