Hi all properly a subject which has been covered before but here goes,
Paved area around 70M2 Marshalls eclipse plank paving border in graphite , main body in light granite(silver grey)
Joints of around 8mm.
Used easy point last year and found it hard work and had lots of cleaning up after, thinking about vdw 840 or 800 but my head is saying the good old fashion way 3.1 with a little SBR and cleaning up as you go
Also unsure about sealing prior to pointing any advice/methods/products or tips hugely welcome

Thanks

Peter

i would be inclined to go towards the 2 part vdw 800 pete
personally 8 mm joints are right on the edge for mortar injection, you need a super fine nozzle on your pointing gun
but overall i still feel sand cement is the best

840+ all the way, wet the slabs plenty of water, spit the sack open wet the 840 to make a slurry and push it in with a squege keeping it wet and slurry, brush of with a softish stiffish broom, fine mist on hose to clean, job done, i have done 4 patios with it this year superb stuff, MSH :)

I have priced for a few jobs lately using the Eclipse and I have taken advice from Marshalls regarding the laying and jointing of the Eclipse flags.
They do not recommend using any type of resin based jointing compound or mortar. There have been severe problems with previous installations with staining.
Recommended method of jointing is using a high quality external waterproof grout. Joints should be around 5-7mm wide
Also important to use white cement in the bedding mortar. A friend of mine has also used silver sand and white cement in his bedding mix. Normal OPC and sand causes a picture frame staining.

i agree mark ,but after falling out of love with geo%%%% and then romp*& why should i let any other polymeric oil salesmen lead me down that path again?
I like to give a 10 year guarantee on work and cant do that with any brush in polymeric
sand and cement AKA easipoint or larsen is tried and trusted over the centuries in the british climate
