Brick colour for new patio

Hello Experts,

We are having a black Mongolian slate patio and I wondered what colour bricks would go best. We need the bricks as the patio has two be raised up a little. We are also having two steps. I was thinking grey but have been having nightmare finding them. We have chosen an old fordge red brick but Im not to sure about it. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

or to emphasize the steps try a deep red stock or engineering brick
