It's being pointed with 6/1 sharp sand cement batched in buckets so no change to mix . It's made very wet to flow into joints then sweegie into joints . Then the pergo belt cleaner comes into play . I have bought 100 litres Eco chem cleaner £250 inc vat to etch the pointing to take the new look away it will in a few months look like over 100 years old . I have in the past used hydercloric acid 32 percent proof but is not user friendly or client friendly will have time lapse up for the pointing :p

Been pointing this way for thirty years plus but to use resin would be 20k plus and would still need to top setts to within 25 mm of the top :D

You beat me to the question there Bob. I'm assuming that the sand and cement is much cheaper to do and the investment of the belt cleaner means the residue can be easily removed ?

Tell me I'm right Cookie ? :D

You are right on paving resin wins hands down on setts slurry wins unless the client has buckets of money resin is by far the quicker but I have had 20 ton diggers with steel tracks on setts with no problem on slurry will have the time lapse camera up for it :D
