Raveena sandstone flags, how strong?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

I have a client who is having a block paved driveway which abuts a proposed sandstone patio. There is a small chance that the edge flag or two may occasionally get a car wheel onto them.

I have steered him clear of tinted mint as its so soft and I am planning on laying the flags in this area on concrete to help add strength.

Does anyone have any experience of raveena/ revina flags and care to pass comment on their suitability?

The other contender is raj green but its getting hard to source over here in Northern ireland.

Cheers

Hi Simon

Raveena is not something that we import but I think that it is a hard stone. I will check tommorow with my supplier and get back to you

Simon

I have checked with our suppliers and Raveena is a very hard stone. It hails from the Kota region of Rajasthan so is in the same mold as autumn brown, raj greem and kandla grey.....VERY HARD
