Thanks for your help last week chaps re ident of a patio I've got to match new slabs into, I agree - probably indian sandstone fossil mint I reckon.
I've account with 2 builders merchants up here in nottingham (TP & circo) - but they can't get an indian sandstone in fossil mint (only the current marshalls range)
Questions: is stone-traders.co.uk or one of the other web dealers a safe bet - can I expect a good product and more importantly good service?
Have you chaps any experience dealing with stone-traders - or could you recommend a good dealer near to me(Nottingham) - or even nationally?
got a 22-24m2 project to do - and stone-traders.co.uk are asking around the 350 mark (14 quid per m2) I think thats quite a fair price - what do u reckon?
Thanks boys.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your reply, I think I would like to deal with you good sir, I've ordered 2 samples off your website just now, raj green and fossil mint, and the product looks excellent, the slabs look more calibrated so will be ordering these off you as soon as I show the samples to my customer.
I've put my phone number on the samples request if you need to contact me, cheers and thanks for the advice lads.

This is what I like about Steve. It would be so easy to rubbish others but instead he gives a good honest opinion of his competitors which can only mean his own company is trustworthy to deal withLondon Stone Paving wrote:I cant vouch for anyone else but can say that stone traders are ok. Its not calibrated so expect a thickness range of 25-40mm but the stone should be ok. Gary is the man to speak to

Hi Steve,
Sorry I missed your reply yesterday, but I spoke with a very nice lady from your place yesterday - and got the samples in the post today! - flippin brilliant service that, many thanks.
Seeing client early this coming week steve, so I'll give you a call then, it's looking like raj green to me. and I think that's what you kindly suggested on my earlier post - looking at the samples I'm unsure wether to go for tumbled raj green or autumn brown - whats your opinion steve? (it's really down to the customer at the end of the day I know - but just wondering what you would put your money on - raj green? - tumbled? (Thanks if u get back to me and sorry about repetetive mind numbing questions.)
