FFS calm down lads I'm close to death but not quite there yet. TBh I'm just hammered 3 kids under 2 years old has been beyond brutal I've no time for anything right now and when I do I too tired. Works been a nightmare plenty on but so much of it weather dependant and lost so many days to the rain and snow there's been no money in anything. Getting back on an even keel now I'll make more effort from now on I promise. Done a few decent jobs and once I've figured out how windows 8 works on a non touch screen I'll get them uploaded. Seriously though how sh#t is the new windows stuff my laptops about to get a proper kicking. :-)
Had a few messages over the last few days thanks for your concern I appreciate it a lot.
Paul.

I used XP pro for years I did everything I needed really well I can't understand why Microsoft allowed such a terrible product to go into circulation it only works on touchscreen. Why change something your client base knows and likes for something that is seriously annoying and counter intuative. Been told by a tech mate to wait for the upgrade which will be keyboard specific because for some reason a lot of computers can't be reverted to older systems.

I'm with Cookie - I crossed over to the dark side about 4 yrs ago, and have never looked back - all those yrs of trying to get one driver to talk to another and then integrate with a program it didn't recognise. My macbook pro is now 5 yrs old but still firing on all cylinders. Never had a prob from day 1.

Very good system for the non geeks.

I've got pc connected to tv with hdmi cable, surround sound connected to pc and tv, tablet connected to both. Xbox thrown in there too. One day I will get around to lifting the floorboards and running conduit so I can tidy up my mess of cables.

Don't know why people pay for a tv license now when you can just pay for netflix or lovefilm.
