Is easipoint still on the market?

I just tried to look at the Easipoint website and it is no more, has Easipoint been taken of the market, if so what other product works well for gun pointing?

This as good a place for an update as any…

Sorting out designs and getting the brick front wall rebuilt took until spring last year, and then it rained most of the summer so process was slow.

I have relayed some sections of riven-effect slabs (on full mortar bed and hand pointed with mortar) while replacing unrodable (a few were also cracked) 1930’s gullies.

Then I decided to replace our gutters (and insert felt supports) as well as install outside lighting before taking up the old path as the path was in a good position for ladders.

Laid the base for a new front path, including building a small ramp with “flags on edge� and having to dig down to below the level of the top soil where it crossed an old flower bed. I “paved� the first section of front path in some old “council pavers� on dot and dab, so as to maintain access while doing the other front path.

Rain then stopped work over winter…. Apart from replacing the lead water mains pipe and taking out the old path next to the bungalow that bridged the DPC)

Now I am in the process of doing the base for the other front path, including changes of levels due to old paths being at the level of the DPC. I hope over the next few weekends to have the subbase for the 2nd front path done, and then I can rip up the “council pavers� and get the nice calibrated granite paving laid on full bed and pointed nicely etc.

I am planning to seal the granite paving before laying it, so I can keep it dry on shelves in the garages while the sealant sets. Also I wish to do most of the cutting of the paving for the design and lay it out to get the wife’s approval before I start laying it. (Due to maintaining access to the front door, I need to minimise the time it takes to lay, even if it takes more time overall).

We changed over to Larsen. No problems with the easipoint product but the after service was just not good enough for us. Since we came over to Larsen we have had loads of product training and just general support
