Anyone know anything about ponds ?

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

sika mixed with cement. Chase the leak out a bit wider, clean it out, push in the sika, or waterstop, smooth off. You will have to be fast, as it goes off rapid.

If you can see an obvious crack or hole try this it works under water and is fish safe. Other wise it's a drain down like LLL suggests. Not sure what type of pond it is but a liner or fibreglassing are a better long term solution than pond paint, as they are better at accommodating any movement in the sub-structure. Might want to wait a few months if you plan on going in the water though!sealant

I would consider the black jack although im not sure on how safe it is for the fish and the filters. Key really is filling a dustbin or two with pond water and run filters in one and keep fish in the other, the bin with the fish in it needs the waters surface to be agitated so as to prevent the fish soffocating, air pump from an indoor aquarium will do it. they will be ok in there over night depending on how many fish there are, but cold water fish produce a lot of waste and in a small volume of water the ammonia can also overwhelm the fish in a short period
