I was just wondering how many Users of this site use sketchup? I was thinking it maybe a good idea to have a texture library on this site either free or for a small fee. what do you guys think? I find it hard to get decent textures.

Iuse it to do simple plan drawings
I like the fact you can draw lines with measurements
but I dont find it that easy to use
its handy though as it will give you areas for shapes

I use it, and it's annoying the lack of proper paving textures but then it's free, if you get a £600 cad package you get what you pay for :)

If the members on this site posted decent pictures we could build a very comprehensive Texture library. Suppliers could also contribute.

I use it now often in preference to autocad, but I use it for producing 3D visualisations of concrete units we manufacture so textures aren't an issue for me.
