1st time post on here, have used this site for years and have found the answer to everything i needed to know before, but today i feel the need to ask!
My problem is this (stay with me here) We have 90m2 of paving going in, with the patio 200mm below soil level to the rear lawn, there has been a substantial extension to the property, and the d/p x 4 have all been left above ground, we have delt with 2 dp to a rear soak away but the problem is this.
The soak away we installed was 2nd 4m3 to the one left by the bulder which was full of water, we installed ours 2m to the side of theres, and added a balance pipe to sort out the full soakaway, we have discharged one side of the house into this but it rained overnight and filled the soakaway up! Once we began to clear the borders next to the lawn we discovered an open well, with the water 450mm below soil level, i guess this is why the soakaway have filled so badly, plus they are on clay!
So now the 90m2 paving needs to be dealt with, i cant get the levels to work to the soak away from the lowest point of the Aco's as i think it would come back up the pipe as we would have to pitch so low in the soak away it would now be below Ground water.
I have a open IC that is sewage and gray water running 2m past the aco system, i still need to deal with another DP for the other side of the roof, so have a lot of storm water to deposit. I have been down the side passage, and checked the drains to the front of the property, hoping i could trench to them, and tap them, but alas, they all discharge onto the gravel driveway with no pipework that i can find.
The previous dp from the garage ran into the IC, but was cut and terminated when they installed the new IC for the extension. So what can i do with the water? I want to put it into the Sewage, with a gully trap inline to stop the smell, but i know this is a no no, and would require planning to do this. I know the bulding inspector has a re visit to sign off the builders work, and am worried he will twig what i have done to get rid of the water. I did read in exceptional situations this is ok, i cant see any optehr way of getting rid of the water, i didnt mention on the side of the patio, the neighbours garden is about 3ft lower than our groundlevel, so any work on that side of the garden will end up draining into his, and flooding him out. Any thoughts suggestions as to what i can, do? I cant dig a new soakaway as it will just fill up again, with groundwater, i have no drainage system to tap, and all i can see to do is go into the sewage. Most paople say anglain water will reject this, but would the building inspector / building control be bothered about this do you think?
ANy thoughts, / advise would be welcomed.

is there any way of running the pipes underground to the front and having a soakaway there?
the water companies really dont like rainwater discharging into sewers and if you ask they will almost certainly say no
if you do choose this route (note I am not advising it) make sure ypou use back inlet gullies to stop smells from the sewer escaping

HI LLL, yes we have 2 inlet gullies to install on it, one for the Aco, and one for the DP. I know about the water companies, thats why i am worried, does violation of this carry a fine or penalty at all do you know, have spent the last 4hrs reading on this and am still none the wiser! I cant pull up the driveway, its solid concrete covered in 10mm shingle, with an in out drive and minimal boder space, 1m bed 5m long to rear of boundry wall, with large Prunus growing in it. Not an option.

Running in to soil drains is illegal and very very naughty as lll has said, if you did do it you would be adding water to the system that has to be processed, i assume it is millions and millions of liters a day... How would anyone know or really care, I want to say just do it but that would be unproffesional of me

So how do i know if it is a combined system then? I dont get why you cant discharge into a sewage system, but with combined you can? Is this just roof discharge it will deal with? How do i access the info to tell me if the property i am working on has this type of system? Bit of a newbie question but if i dont ask i wont know, and i am sure this will come up again at some point.
