What do you guys think of THIS method?
I know its the US and it looks like pretty dry impermeable rock, but he has installed a sump pump and not DPM'ed it either. I wanted to do something like this over at my place in Bulgaria (£40 a cube over there ), DPM or pond liner all the way around , rest the container on 4" blocks so concrete can get underneath (heavy slump),fill void around container, sides and top.
Maybe go with this guys idea of having a 'roof'.
Any ideas?

ok first off are you a crazy american nut job who thinks the federal government are out to get you?
ok now thats cleared up, if you try and pour concrete all the way round the container will float up on the concrete
you need to line it then pour your base with a kicker and some starter bars or bent mesh, dont gorget your sump as well
then add your containing brace and pour etc, but i think just having shutters built and it poured would be easier, they're generally pretty good with concrete and formwork in the former east.

Forgot about casting a slab first, was thinking of a fast way to complete. But this will be better,as I can set out sump pump location, uprights if a roof is going over it and anchors (if needed)
Its just and idea I've been kicking around for a while. Firstly its security, so when I'm not there , I can lock down the important stuff. Secondly, it wont take up any space ,as I can landscape/drive over or what ever, once its in.
As for maryjewani, if you get caught doing naughtiness like that over there, its frowned upon, Im told the prisons are like 'Midnight Express' without any lube.

4 foot of earth and it's doesn't show uplocal patios and driveways wrote:This is how most of the successful marajuana farmers are growing it these days, but they have to insulate the outside of the containers with some kind of water blanket so a warm square dont show up on police heat seeking cameras. Big investment, bigger returns.
