Took daughter to an indoor play centre last sunday, and parked in the neighbouring industrial unit
Camehome yesterday to a "parking charge" notice, demanding £65 if i pay within 14days, 85 if not. It threatens a bailiff call and a ccj if I still fail to pay.
To the untrained individual, it all looks serious, but its un enforceable, as its on private property, and they are just sending me an invoice. Besides, they have also sent it to the registered keeper, but should send it to the driver, and I am not legally obliged to tell them who it is.
So from here on in, ignore, ignore and ignore again

I am looking forward to sending lots of junk to them using their pre addressed envelopes, and by putting no stamp on it, they have to go to the post office to pay to get it

Many years ago when vehicle removal first come in, the guy I worked for opened his first pound up in Warwick road.... He made a mint out of it...

At this point I think I need to make it clear I used to work doing breakdown and recovery from his garage in Richmond.

another unnamed mate of mine worked for wing security grabbing cars and clamping
they were doing a snatchback in camberwell and t people in the flats started bombarding them with nappies, ash trays and would you believe a TV set
he said you had to get in and out quick in the bad lands
last time I saw him he was a bit short of teeth,he said its always the little ones or the women that kick off

my mate used to cut off clamps with a stihl ts400, throw them in his boot and drive off. He never got into trouble, despite being caught several times!

Thought this was unenforceable this year ,as the law had changed on clamping firms?
There was a thing on the box where a guy was just chancing it ,acting as a legal firm

I got one at local cineworld free car park, ignored it. Made a mental note to one day go concrete their drains lol

Made to look like a council parking ticket etc

You make a contract with them when you park they need to proof a loss has occurred how can they do that on a free car park?

They rely on ppl panicking and paying
