Hi I am going over to London to do a paving job for my sister .
In Ireland I always use self sealing stabilizing sand From Roadstone .Is there any company in in London area who sells a product like this .I find it is great to supress weed growth and is really usefull for wide joints . I would really like to use something like it as it would mean less visits for maintainance in the future.

robert are you talking about a resin or polymeric type mortar that you either brush or wash in
there are various products on the market
marshalls weather-point
gftk vdw
and romex
you brush it in,strike it and leave it
normally the more expense the better they are

I think he is on about stabilized kiln dried sand for block paving.

I'm sure marshalls or one of the other big players over there make one.

If you can't find it there are plenty of spray applied resin stabilizers from resibloc and the like.

Yeah it is kiln dried stabilizing sand .
