what i mean is its one of those little 5 minute things that slows the start of the day
when i started it was impressed upon me the importance of getting a gauge out of the mixer N.B. out,not gormlessley watching it go round,and on the spot boards
first couple of hours is critical to the days work

know exactly what your saying, we have lads that hang back when it needs men all around and then there's the phone/toilet crew after tea and lunch.

Phone crew,
fag crew,
newspaper crew,
collar up on work shirt just to be different to rest of team guy,
stand and watch one man do work guy,
lad who never thinks to clear up or sweep when theres nowt to do,
Guy who is going at 5pm on the dot no matter what,

All feckin wnakers in my book

Sounds like you could write a book on these work shy men. :)I say to my chaps if your stood up doing nothing then somethin ain't right, your never see me stood up lookin at the sky, there is mostly always something you can do.

ive got size 13 feet get them in a pair of hogs steel toes and im literally pressing brake and accelerator i always change, started wearing hi viz suit or boiler suit now stops yo taking work away with you in the car or in the house,

i like the rake and straight edge he has on micro digger not seen that before, dont think his standards are the best but ok for the money

as has been said it looks like most of his jobs are for clients looking for a price point
