we have decided to add an avant laoder to our line up, i know dan has a smaller one and he's been really helpful. i have a search saved on ebay and a few leads with dealers.
looking for a good used one ideally 600-700 series so the bigger ones, cab not really important, we'd like a 4:1 bucket and pallet forks to start, we can adapt our breakers, augers, post post driver to fit as well.
if any one hears of any or has any leads let me know

its not a skid steer so wear will be much less and our machines only average a few hundred hours a year if that, 3 ton and 16 ton being the most used,
tyre detail, foam filled will be what we are after

thanks mick will do
i thought about the smaller one for access but might match one to our 1 ton dumper

the smallest one is a funny thing more a garden tool

Giles, we take £40 per hour for the machine plus £40 per hour delivery as in the snow it can take 3 hours to deliver a machine over say 60miles. and extra men at £18ph not done any gritting but npw looking at a plough and gritter for the fourtrak. Reckon that acant would be unbeatable to clear snow especially as most of the big clients want all the snow tucked away in one corner

Ha! Nice one tony!
I have a 525. Ideally need a 630 to get the lift I need, so I would advise maybe a 630 if you can. Tony knows someone with a 730. That will lift 1.5tonne

hes just let all his lads go sold everything other than the avant and a 3.5 kubota and gone back on his own. he had 2 x 16 ton hook lifts, jc130's, 7 ton yanmar, 9 ton dumpers and 6 lads on now just back to himself he was working for a neighbour with his and we were very impressed with it.

Those Avants are for shortarses the operator space is tiny. I've been using a small Weidemann loader on a job I've been on for a few months. It weighs about 2.5 tons and is a seriously powerful and useful bit of kit that's much heavier duty than an Avant and has all the same attachments. Easier to use being that it's a more conventional setup and the operators not sitting on the front section.
Can't see it from my house
